Sheila Hebert is a retired elementary school teacher. When her students asked what life was like when she was young, she responded by telling them stories based on her childhood experiences in Stonefield, Quebec. They listened with a mixture of disbelief and delight as she described a time and place when children didn’t need toys to have fun and adventure was waiting around every corner.
Sheila’s hobbies include choral singing and reading about rural life. She and her husband enjoy exploring country roads and villages in Canada and France. They have two daughters and one grand-daughter whose favourite bedtime stories were and are Stonefield stories.
