Riding Backwards on the Train

I present to you a collection of poetry. As far back as I can remember I read and wrote free verse. I was always drawn to short, concise styles. Naturally, in 1990 when I discovered new genres, such as Korean Sijo; followed shortly after by various types of Japanese forms, i.e. tanka, haiku, senryu, etc. I became a student.

Poetry is my oxygen, informing all aspects of my life and art, which is fine and realistic. Today I write in many genres while still reading and enjoying the works to other poets; be ancient and modern. There is always more to learn.
